Keith Gish

Keith E. Gish was called to his Heavenly home on January 22, 2023, just nine days shy of his 95th birthday. He was born on January 31, 1928, in Jenks, Oklahoma, to Rufus Gish and Ruby Hoffman.
Keith began his career as an ironworker in 1951 and served as president of the Ironworker's Local #48 for many years. He retired in April 1993 and enjoyed the remainder of his years doing more of what he loved most in life. He was a simple man, and, in his spare time, liked hunting, fishing, and working in the garden. He was also quite the handyman — one could often find him climbing up ladders, fixing things around the house, and building anything that came to his mind. But Keith found the most joy in spending time with and loving his family. He was an exceptional husband, father, and grandfather.
Keith is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 ½ years, Doris O. Gish; son, Larry Gish; his mother and father; sister, Beatrice Brewer; and his brother, Gerald Gish.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Gish; grandson, Rodney Harris, and his fiancé Sarah; granddaughter Christina Shetley, and her husband, Cory Shetley; great-grandchildren Kaylea Lynn, Tayton Cole, and Kortney Shay Harris; along with a brother-in-law, several nieces and nephews, and step-great-granddaughters, Cailey, and Gracie Shetley.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
