Judy "Judy Angel" Senft

Judith “Judy Angel” Senft passed from this life into the arms of her
Savior on July 25, 2019 at the age of 72 after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born October 18, 1946 in Harrisburg, PA to Walter and Marian
Rice.
Judy grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from US Grant High
School in 1965. After high school, she started her family while working
as a nursing aide and decided to turn her love for helping people into a
nursing career. She went on to attend nursing school where she
obtained her degree and spent the next 42 years as an LPN, most of
them with the State of Oklahoma serving people with special mental
and physical needs. Judy married the love of her life, Richard “Rick”
Senft, on January 14, 1997.
Judy was a follower of Jesus and expressed her faith through her work
and relationships with family and friends. She was an avid gardener
and reader and collector of history. She also had a special love for cats
and American buffalos.
She was preceded in passing by her father, Walter Rice; nephew Jessie
Rice; and nieces Amanda Rice and Wendy Yetter.
Survivors include her mother, Marian Mae Rice; loving husband of 22
years, Rick Senft; sons, Richard Tarver, Jr. “Willie” and Samuel Tarver;
siblings, Rita Hair and husband, Roger, Walter Rice and wife, Teresa,
and Cindy Rice; and grandchildren, Hali and Xxanne; Judy is also
survived by 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces,
nephews, and other extended family and friends.
A memorial service to honor Judy’s life will be held at 2:00pm on
Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Chapel at Resthaven, 500 SW 104 th St.
