Jonathan “Clancy” O’Neal passed from this life January 21, 2022 at the age of 57. He was born April 13, 1964 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Joe Bob O’Neal and Beverly Ann O’Neal (Lawson).

Clancy grew up in Oklahoma City and in Demming, New Mexico. He graduated from Edmond Memorial High School and went on to be a contract painter. He was excellent in his career field and painted a large part of Oklahoma City, including the Skirvin Hotel and multiple Homeland Grocery stores ranging from Kansas to South Texas. Clancy was very talented and gifted in painting and did that up until his passing.

Clancy was a diehard Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast. He lived and loved to ride. In addition, he was an avid pool player and also loved playing guitar and golfing. Clancy made friends wherever he went and was truly the life of every party. His life motto was “every night is Friday and every day is Saturday”, and that was precisely the type of fun and entertainment that his presence brought everyone on a daily basis. He was quite the ‘lady’s man’ and just always made people laugh with his amazing sense of humor. Clancy was a loving father and grandfather and a loyal friend who will be missed forever by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, Joe Bob and Beverly O’Neal; brothers, Robert Duffy O’Neal and Casey O’Neal; and sister, Kelly Jo O’Neal.
