After 53 years of a life well celebrated, John F. Posey Bray “Johnny Po” passed away peacefully with his family gathered around him. He was born on December 22, 1964 in Oklahoma City. Johnny was a member of IATSE Labor Union and worked as a stage hand (Roadie) for many years. He worked with shows in Las Vegas, mostly with Freemont Street and all over the United States. He loved Las Vegas, traveling, spending time at the cabin at Ft. Cobb, his cellphone, concerts of all types, Audio Slave, celebrating his Kiowa Tribe heritage, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He never met a stranger and will be terribly missed by all that knew and loved him. Johnny Po is survived by his parents, Jimmy W. Sr., and Janice (Mammedaty) Bray; siblings, Shonna Owens and husband Tim, Jimmy “Jimbo” Bray, Jr., and Alsiha Bray Jones and husband Joseph; nieces and nephews, Ashleigh, Scott, Jeff, Shane, Jayce, Halea, Miraca, Jody, Angel, Maggie, Justice, and Avery; aunts/uncles, Vic and Mayredean Palmer and family, and Pat and Curtis LeClaire and family; and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester and Juanita Mammedaty, J.W. and Lupe Bray, and Tom and Betty Posey. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 12th from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Friday, April 13th from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. One last stage will be set up to celebrate Johnny Po’s life on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10:00 am at The Chapel at Resthaven in Oklahoma City. Graveside services will be held 3:30 pm at Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, OK.
