Joe Kutej

Joe Kutej was born August 4, 1938, and died on June 7, 2018.

A Korean War Veteran, Joe served in the Navy. Joe enjoyed a 40 year career with Coca-Cola.  He served as a bottle route driver, fountain service/sales, a regional service manager and later as Special Events manager.  Joe enjoyed many trips in his Bounder RV and riding on his Harley with friends.   Joe loved his large family and enjoyed the many cook-outs and get-together's with his children and grand-children.
 
Joe was preceded in death by parents, Josef and Daisy (King) Kutej; twin brothers, Bobby and Billy Kutej; sons, Rickey and Randy Kutej and Ronald Sikes.

Joe is survived by his wife, Thelma Joyce; daughters, Rhonda Kutej-Ware, Peggy Sue Coy, Rebecca Phillips and husband Jim, Brenda Hall and husband Rob; sisters, Betty Joe Brown and husband Troy, Deloras Shield and husband Phil; five grandsons, Shawn Shaw and wife Maegan, Joey Ware and wife Amie, Jason Kennedy and wife Kimberly, Eric Kennedy and wife Laura, David Kennedy and wife Marsha; three grand-daughters, twins Brooke and Blair Kutej and Amy Miller and husband Danny.  Joe and Thelma have been blessed with 20 great-grandchildren.
 
Visitation will be Monday, June 11th 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven.  Graveside services at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 12th at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104th Oklahoma City, OK.
