June 19, 1933 ~ January 28, 2019 (age 85) 85 Years Old

Tribute

Early January 28, as the morning sun appeared, Jo Jean Trail, 85, stepped peacefully to her heavenly rest from her long painful battle with crippling arthritis and Alzheimer's. Born June 19, 1933 to Enoch (Boots) and Nora Peery in South Oklahoma City, Jo Jean attended Capital Hill High School. Parents and brothers, Jerry and Lynn, preceded Jo Jean and were anxiously waiting for her to join them. Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Larry, her daughters and their husbands, Lynne and Ronnie Blaine and Monna and Richard Diaz, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Although Jo Jean loved Oklahoma, she and Larry lived for a time in Miami Lakes, FL, and San Francisco. She worked for Southern Bell. She and Larry square danced for many years making many great friends throughout the U.S as they danced challenge levels. Jo Jean especially loved children and babies. She also made it a point to know and help the homeless and she would always stop to help anyone in trouble. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved and were loved by her. The family thanks Crossroads Hospice for helping her on a peaceful and painless final journey. Jo Jean is at Resthaven Funeral Home and will be available for friend visitations Sunday, February 3 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral and burial services will begin at Resthaven Monday February 4, at 10:00 AM.
