Jimmy Dean Kirkpatrick, 59, of Newcastle, Oklahoma, passed away on May 8, 2021.
Jim was born December 17, 1961, and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He worked hard, thirty plus years in the water solution business with his parents, brother and sister, and played even harder.
Jim was the life of the party wherever he was and there wasn’t a prank, joke or tease to be passed regardless of who you were. He enjoyed giving us all a hard time, with nothing but love. The most important quality about Jim is the love he shared with his family. He loved Debi fiercely and his children and grandchildren meant the world to him. Jim enjoyed traveling the world with his wife but also loved just sitting on the patio by the pool with her. The patio was a host to many parties with family and friends. Everyone knew they were welcome at Jim and Debi’s. The lake and fishing were great memories we will always share. We all know how much he enjoyed playing cards, whether a get together with friends or at the tables at the local casino. I bet many of us have lost a dollar or two to him. None of us will be able to look at a Coors Light can without thinking of Jim.
He leaves behind his wife of 33 years, two sisters, three daughters, one son, five grandsons, and one daughter in law, one son in law, and a host of other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
There will be a Celebration of Life on May 17, 2021, 2:00 pm, at Resthaven Funeral Home 500 SW 104th St. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The service will be available live stream as well. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers a donation to be made to a charity of your choice.
