Jimmie Leon Justus entered his Heavenly home on September 2, 2023. He was born December 13, 1926 in Coleman, Oklahoma to William and Bertha Justus.
Jimmie and his loving wife Beulah had three children and were blessed with over 50 years of marriage prior to Beulah’s passing in 2002.
Jimmie was an excellent gardener and loved growing vegetables every year. In addition, he was an avid deer hunter. Above all, Jimmie loved the Lord and had the heart of a servant. His family was the light of his life.
He was preceded in passing by his wife, Beulah Justus; son, Larry Justus; granddaughter, Angie Justus; and several brothers and sisters.
Those left to continue his legacy include his daughter, Kathy Hodge and husband Frank; son, Allen Justus; grandchildren, Von Justus, Shane Hodge and wife Angela, Joshua Hodge and wife Jodi, Sara Hodge and fiancé Brian Peters, Todd Justus, and Chad Justus; great-grandchildren, Austin and Hanna, Kaelyn and Kaisen, Meagan and Cody, Chloe, Colter, EmaLee, Shayla, Jace, Carlee, and Caity; great-great grandchildren, Elliott, Lillian, Amelia, Blakely, Rayden, McKadee, Clade, Brynleigh, Landon, Cortlynn, Katelyn and Allison; and his brother, Marland Justus. Jimmie is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends.
Visitation is 9:30am-1:30pm, Friday, September 8, 2023 at Resthaven Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel at Resthaven. Jimmie’s funeral service will be live-streamed for those who would like to attend virtually. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
