James Lloyd Stewart “Jim”, 76, Oklahoma City, OK, July 30, 1942 – February 8, 2019.
Surrounded by his loving family, Jim passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer.
A gifted artist, custom car builder and entrepreneur, Jim owned and operated the Cor Vett Center/Auto Sports Center, Custom Parts Distributing and Stewart Design for 50+ years. His talents and strict attention to details won numerous awards and earned him the reputation as being one of the best at his craft(s). He was involved in motorsports as an owner, crew chief, sponsor and driver competing in and winning numerous event on the Blackjack Enduro Circuit on his prized Husqvarnas along with much success in events at the State Fair Speedway and race tracks throughout this area. Jim was considered a legend of the sport and will be sorely missed by all.
Proceeded in death by mother: Hazel and father: Raymond James, brothers: Don, Jerry “Jerb” and sister: Linda.
Survived by wife of 55 years, Linda, sons: John and fiancé Tammy, Joe and wife Laura, granddaughters: Lydia and Lauren along with numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends who loved and will miss him dearly.
