Jerry Elliott, 60, passed away Friday, August 16, 2019, peacefully in his home. He was born in Oklahoma City on September 13, 1958, to Jack and Sally Elliott and remained in Oklahoma City for the duration of his life. He attended Moore Public Schools and enjoyed getting into trouble as an extracurricular activity. Jerry met the love of his life, Dianne, in 1983 and married her on October 4, 1985. Together, they raised two sons, Michael and Stephen. Jerry was known, professionally, as a highly regarded Plumber for over 35 years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed family vacations with his wife and sons, frequenting places such as Hawaii and Las Vegas. Jerry loved taking his family camping and fishing all around Oklahoma. An avid New York Giants fan, Jerry never missed a game on TV. He also enjoyed his time on the open road listening to the rumbles of his motorcycle. Jerry was a recipient of numerous trophies and local awards for his prize winning show bike. Blues music and BBQ were the true core of this man. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dianne, and their son, Stephen. He is survived by his mother, Sally, his son, Michael and his wife, Amanda, and his granddaughters, Sydney, Lily, and Elizabeth. Jerry is also survived by his nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 22, 2019 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with Interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
