Jeffrey Melton

Jeffrey Allen Melton passed from this life September 21, 2021 at the age of 52. He was born March 24, 1969 in Oklahoma City. Jeffrey worked at Domino Equipment Company for 20 years and greatly enjoyed the time he spent there. It was not just a job to him, they were his family.

Jeffrey was a gentle, kind man. Not only did he love, but also he made sure that those he loved actually felt his love. He was a friend to everyone and always seen the good in people.  Jeffrey became a father late in life and dedicated himself to spending quality time with Bryceson and making lasting memories that he could carry through his life. Jeff enjoyed taking Bryceson swimming, bike riding, tossing the football with him and especially playing basketball with him and his grandkids. Jeffrey also enjoyed planning road trips with Michele, sharing new experiences together, while capturing it all on camera.

Photography was Jeffrey’s passion. He was not a materialistic man. He dedicated his life to making and capturing memories with Michele, Bryceson, his grandchildren and for both the Melton and Jones families. He was also a selfless man who dedicated many years to caring for his mother Nancy and his sister Teresa. Jeffrey’s other hobbies included fishing and hunting, and he especially loved doing these things with his dad, brother Jack, and Tom.

Jeffrey was a kind, gentle soul who will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. He was a loving man of strong faith and we know that he secured his wings and a place in Heaven during his brief time on Earth.

Those left to continue his legacy include his father, Jack; wife, Michele; son, Bryceson; stepchildren, Jamie and Chad; grandchildren, Haedyn, Haylin, Tristyn, Taysom and Waylon; siblings, Karen, Carol, Jack and Teresa; and nieces and nephews, Patrick, Rudy, Christopher, Brittany, Ashley, Zachary, and Juliana.



A memorial service for Jeffrey will take place at 3:00pm, Saturday, October 2, 2021 a the Chapel at Resthaven. Services will also be live streamed for those would like to attend via online.
