Jane C. Darrow

Jane Carol Darrow of Oklahoma City passed from this life at the age of 76 on Saturday, September 11, 2021, after a long illness.

Jane was born in Washington, PA to William J and Flora S Mitchell on June 28, 1945. Due to her father’s military career, Jane traveled to several places overseas. Jane met Bob Darrow and they married in June of 1964. During their marriage, the Air Force moved them to Anchorage, Alaska, Camp Springs, Maryland, San Antonio, Texas and finally to Oklahoma City.

After working for JC Penney’s for over 40 years, Jane retired in the Summer of 2007 and quickly became the cheer squad grandma for Moore High School. Jane’s hobbies included shopping, traveling, shopping, playing scrabble, shopping, going to Bingo, shopping, bowling and of course, shopping.

Jane is preceded in death by her husband Bob Darrow, her parents William and Flora Mitchell, and her sister Donna Kramer. Jane is survived by her daughter Tammy (Darrow) Lott and husband Greg, two sons Robert Darrow and wife Kelly, and William Darrow and wife Janice, her sister Billie Smith and husband Larry, seven grandchildren, Tonya, Logan, Bryan, Amber, Tyler, Emily, and Rebecca, six great-grandchildren, Abby, London, Aubree, Lily, Hollee, and Zachary, three nieces and three nephews.
