Tribute

JAMES WELDON ROBERSON was born July 8, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Weldon and Era (Reynolds) Roberson and went to heaven on Thursday, February 13, 2020.
Jim worked for and retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad Company for 41 years as a Conductor Brakemen.  He loved riding his Honda trike with his wife, searching for family ancestries, cheering on the OSU Cowboys and hosting his family and enjoying time together.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda Ramsey.  He is survived by his wife, Susan Roberson, sister, Ann Dumas (Larry), son, Angelo Carballo (Valerie), daughters, Lucia Oberle (David) and Crystal Steinle (Jared).  Grandchildren:  Derrick Mireles, Aaron Monreal, Tony Monreal, Michel Carballo, Nathan Carballo, Jack Oberle, Paxton Oberle, Alec Oberle, Parker Oberle, Dreamer Zelenka, Ambria Roberson, Dalton Eberhart, Camryn Eberhart and Memphis Eberhart. Great-grandchildren:  Isabella Mireles, Issiac Carballo, Auroura Carballo, Piper Monreal, Ellyott Zelenka and Eastyn Zelenka.
 
Services are a Rosary at 6 PM, Sunday, February 16 and a funeral Mass at 10 AM, Monday, February 17 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at 123 S. 9th St. in McLoud, Oklahoma then, a brief graveside service will be held at Resthaven. 
 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the INTEGRIS Cancer Institute at Southwest Medical Center where Jim received treatment for nine years. https://integrisfoundation.publishpath.com/give-now.
