Iva Gaskill

Iva Dolores Gaskill was blessed to Marion Aldo Jaye and Mary Josephine Steiner of Mountain View, Oklahoma on April 14, 1927. She entered into eternal rest on April 5, 2021 just a few days before her 94th birthday.

- She attended Sedan Schools where she had many friends and was an avid basketball player through Jr. High and High School. Her future husband, Clayton, drove the school bus to their games.  

- On August 24, 1946 she was married in Hobart, Oklahoma to Clayton D Gaskill also of Mountain View, Oklahoma. They moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1952 and resided there the remainder of their lives. She was a small and quiet lady and worked for many years as a pharmacy technician which she truly enjoyed. She loved our family get togethers and dinners. She was a fabulous cook and we never left hungry.

- She was the youngest of her siblings Rex, Marion Aldo “Boots”, Birdie and Bub who preceded her in death along with her mother and father and husband Clayton.
 

She is survived by her daughters Vicky Blaske and Marilyn Gaskill as well as 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
