Imogene Williams of Oklahoma City passed away on June 2, 2020, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years.
Imogene Williams was born on September 30, 1931, in Decatur, Arkansas. She was the daughter of John and Ruby (Richardson) Hall. She grew up in Decatur, Arkansas, until age ten then she moved with her family to Gentry, Arkansas, where she attended Gentry Public Schools graduating in 1949. Following her education she moved to Siloam Springs where she began working for the telephone company and the bank. She married Rex Williams on March 13, 1951, at Lockland Air Force Base and they lived in various states. Following their marriage she began working for a realty company and in 1953 was one of the ten finalists of the Miss Eye Ease. Following Rex’s retirement from the Air Force they moved to Del City, Oklahoma. In February 1964 after years of trying to adopt they were blessed to adopt Kelly at 28 days old, Imogene always believed Kelly was her best blessing ever even in his teenage years. In August 2012 Rex preceded her in death and she continued to live in Del City. She was a member of the Sunnylane Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and went to Carnegie Hall with the choir to perform and also was very active in the Women’s group in the church. She enjoyed quilting, RV traveling, collecting pig figurines and loved spending time with her family and church family.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Don Hall and Dale Hall.

She is survived by one son, Kelly Williams and wife Debra of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; two grandchildren, Ethan Williams of Northglenn, Colorado, and Hannah Evans of Portland, Oregon; two brothers, Curtis Hall of Lawrence, Kansas, and Tommy Hall of Gentry, Kansas; and three sisters, Eva Nell Clark of Claremore, Oklahoma, Maud Ellen Feemster of Oklahoma City, and Janiece Elder of Jay, Oklahoma.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, June 5, 2020, at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Lynn Brack officiating. Burial will be held at 11:30 Saturday, June 6, 2020, at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Spring, Arkansas.
