Imogene Rose Curtis

Imogene “Jean” Rose Curtis passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Ok at the age of 96. Jean was born June 28, 1925 in Davis, OK to Audie and Ethel Cottrell.
At the early age of five years, Jean, older brother Herman, younger sister Thelma and Mom and Dad moved to Katie, OK where Dad farmed and provided well even throughout the depression years.
In the 40’s she married the boy next door, Hubert Curtis, and were married till the untimely death of Hubert in 1982. They had two children Vonda Kay and Roger Lee.
Jean’s life was full with her children, working and helping Hubert in his business, and later in life working in Procurement at Tinker Air Force Base where she retired in the late 80’s.
Jean loved sports especially the Oklahoma Sooners, the OKC Thunder, and the Dallas Cowboys.
Most of all, Jean loved her family and will be missed by all. She is survived by her daughter, Vonda and son-in-law, Jerry Barton, her grandsons Brent Barton and Landon Curtis and wife Leslie, and great grandson Mason, Amy and Katie, beloved step daughters and many more beloved family members and friends.
Jean lived a long and beautiful life!
