Ima Ruth Forman

Ima Ruth Forman entered her Heavenly home on September 25, 2021. She was born December 20, 1932 in Loyal, Oklahoma.

Ima grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Central High School. After graduation, she entered into the United States Navy, where she proudly served her country for 4 years. Ima married the love of her life, Willard Lee Forman, on April 22, 1960. They were blessed with 39 years of marriage prior to Willard’s passing in 1999. After marriage, Ima stayed home to raise her children. Once they were older, she went to work at FAA in accounting, and ultimately retired from there.

Ima loved reading, watching crime shows, and bird and squirrel watching. Above all, she adored her family and loved just spending time with them.

She was preceded in passing by her parents, Owen and Stella Skinner; loving husband, Willard Lee Forman; and brothers, Everett Holloway and Bob Holloway.

Those left to continue her legacy include her daughter, Deena Farrier and husband Tom; son, Mark Forman and wife Sherrie; grandchildren, Leah Ricketts and husband Levi, Scott Farrier and fiancé Sydney Norton, Corey Forman and fiancé Shakota Auburn, and Mya Forman; and great-grandchild, Beau Allen Ricketts. Ima is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends who will all miss her dearly.

Visitation is 3:00pm-8:00pm, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Resthaven Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 2:00pm, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Chapel at Resthaven.
