Holly McCoy

Our beloved Holly Michele, 55, of Oklahoma City, went “home” to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, January 16, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and the very best of friends. She was born December 5, 1967, to Laneta and Roy McCoy. Holly attended Moore High School where she was the 1986 senior class president and Miss MHS. Her heart of a Lion never stopped as she loved bringing her classmates together for reunions, scholarship outreach, and to help the current students attending Moore High School. She then attended Oklahoma State University and became the ultimate Cowboy. She earned a bachelor’s degree and eventually a Master of Science in Mass Communications. Holly bled orange and was the self-proclaimed OSU’s ALL-TIME #1 LEADING FAN. Her legacy will live on through The Holly McCoy Endowed Leadership Scholarship for future OSU students. Holly worked for Candid Color Systems for the last 27 years. She was dedicated to her work and loved her coworkers immensely. Known for her love of photography, fishing, gardening, OSU, and Luke Bryan, Holly loved loving people most of all. She found so much joy in her gardening tours each year, spreading love one vegetable at a time. Her family and friends meant everything to her, and she had a way of making each one feel like they were her very best friend. We will miss her giving heart and passion for helping others. We love you, Holly, and will miss you dearly and will continue taking pictures in your honor. She is survived by the love of her life, Mike Motto of Moore, her brother Mike McCoy and wife Lisa of Moore, niece Amanda Robinson and husband Broc of Yukon, nephew Tyler McCoy of Norman, niece Micah McCoy of Oklahoma City, great-niece Millie Robinson of Yukon, and many friends that she loved like family. She is preceded in death by her mother Laneta McCoy, father Roy McCoy, and several grandparents that she missed greatly.

Holly’s life will be honored with a viewing from 5:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 20, 2023, at Emmaus Baptist Church with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
