Herbert W. Simpson, 66, suddenly passed away on September 10, 2020, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Herbert was born on October 24, 1953, to Herbert W. Simpson and Joyce M. Douglas in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Hutchinson High School and was one of ten children. Herbert married the love of his life, Jacqueline Perrell, on December 24, 1975.

   Herbert served in the Army from May 1971 to May of 1973. He worked hard to support his family as a salesman and later owned his own bingo halls. Herbert enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows Two and a Half Men, Two Broke Girls, and Last Man Standing. He liked playing golf, going to the casino and sitting outside with neighbors in his community to talk and drink coffee. He also loved spending time with his family and two dogs Snowflake and Babygirl.

   Herbert was preceded by his wife Jacqueline; his parents, Herbert and Joyce Simpson; his siblings, Nancy Davis, Trinidad and Richard Sotomayo; three grandchildren, Dylan, Cathryn and Angel.

He is survived by his siblings, Darryl Hadden, Joyce Lawerence, Kathy Bonham, Michael and Daniel Sotomayor; six children, Sabrina and Brian Sommers, Lisa Hicks, Michelle Moore, Christina and Timothy Cable, Megan Simpson, and Josh Simpson; twelve grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael, Harley, Jessica, Mackenzie, Allee, Austin, Abigail, Phoebe, Malik, Madison, and Markli; along with seven great grandchildren.

   Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on September 19, 2020, at Resthaven Funeral Home. There will be a public viewing on Friday from 1:00 to 7:00pm.
