June 7, 2017 brought to a close 90 years of a life well lived for Helen Margaret Kelley. She was born January 13, 1927 to Alta Mae (Couch) and Henry Khoury in Drumright, Oklahoma. Helen was a wonderful mother and wife. She loved caring for her home and her family, especially decorating. Helen and Bill would move into a house, she’d decorate it all up, and then she’d ask Bill if they could move so she could do it again. A wonderful homemaker, Helen enjoyed cooking, especially Lebanese food, and it’s been said she made fantastic cabbage rolls. When she wasn’t loving on her family, Helen spent her time caring for and giving of her time to others. Helen contracted Scarlet fever when she was twelve that presented many health challenges over the course of her life, but she always had a great will to live. She enjoyed listening to Elvis, wearing bright colors, and the more sparkle and bling she could incorporate the better. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Betty Gentry. Cherishing her memories are her husband, Billy “Bill” Joe Kelley; sons, Marne Trumbly, Jr. and wife Wanda, and Steven Trumbly; brother, Charles Khoury; sisters, LaDon Martin and Genevieve Perry; grandson, Kyle Trumbly and wife Renee; and great-grandchildren, Owen and Ella Trumbly.
