Hazel K Skidmore

After 93 years of a life well lived Hazel K. Skidmore passed away in Oklahoma City, OK on November 6, 2018. She was born in Oklahoma City, OK to William and Elizabeth Butler. Hazel enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, playing softball her high-heeled shoes, but especially loved spending time with her family and raising her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a kind, loving, and caring mother. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil Skidmore; daughter, Kathy Piocione; and four sisters. She is survived by her sons, James Roberts Skidmore, Lloyd William Skidmore and wife Kim; grandchildren, Carl Brewer, Kristi Burge, Karri LaChance, Jimmy Whitchurch, Jr., and Tannen Alford. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8th from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, family will greet friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Services to celebrate Hazel’s life will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm in The Little Chapel of Roses at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
