After 74 years of a life well lived, Glenna Jean Scott went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 9, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born to Cecil and Patricia (Campbell) Madden on July 4, 1943 in Oklahoma City. Glenna met her future husband Richard while working at the Chieftain Theatre in Capital Hill as a ticket cashier. Richard and Glenna were married 58 years. She enjoyed bowling, making her children’s clothes when they were young, enjoyed shopping with her sister, but most of all she enjoyed taking care of her family. Glenna was a seamstress and upholstered aircraft interiors. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Allen; children, Rebecca J. Hudson and husband Paul, Vickie L. Scott and fiancé Scott Hoefert, and Richard A. Scott, Jr.; grandchildren, Bradley Marcum, Scotty Marcum, Robert Marcum, Shelly Mallory, Colton Scott, and Bailey Scott; seven great grandchildren; and brother, Doyle Madden and wife Betty. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa A. Scott; parents; and sister, Phyllis A. Mowdy. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Wednesday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Services to celebrate Glenna’s life will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Trinity Freewill Baptist Church with interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
