George E. Barnes

George Edward Barnes, born in Duncan, OK September 24, 1938, passed away January 24, 2020. George served in the Navy, and retired from the State of Oklahoma. He acquired many friends while being an umpire for different softball teams. He is survived by 2 sons, Greg Barnes, Las Vegas, Nevada; Grant Barnes and Wife Jeanette, Yukon, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren Lesley Barnes and Boomer Barnes, Yukon, Oklahoma; 2 half-sisters, Kathy and Paula; 1 half-brother Charles; step-brother Bill Cockerham; and close cousin Mary Kathryn Cook. He is preceded in death by his mother Jewel Cockerham, father George Barnes, half-brother Lee Barnes, sister Judy Larkin, and step-brother Paul Cockerham.
