December 22, 1943 ~ January 29, 2024 (age 80) 80 Years Old
Fredia F. Mulvany (Taylor) passed away January 29,2024 at the age of 80 years old. She was born in Walters, Oklahoma December 22,1943. Fredia and Sonny married February 12, 1965 and raised three children in Oklahoma City. They were married for 34 years prior to his death in January 2000.
Fredia was known for her quick wit, easy laugh and love of practical jokes. Her best memories were of spending time with family and friends, especially playing card games. If you ever played a game of cards you know she was competitive and enjoyed her version of the rules. That is the Fredia we all love.
Fredia enjoyed her bowling group, church group and being a part of the LWML. She was very creative with crochet, cross-stitch, quilting and other crafts. These are gifts that will continue to bring us joy.
Fredia was preceded in death by Sonny Mulvany, her parents Winstead and Dovie Taylor, and her brother Elden Taylor. She is survived by her children Malynda Mulvany, Kelly Grissom (John) and Tom Mulvany (Allison); Grandchildren Garrin Rard, Madison Grissom (fiancé Sam Nau) and Jack Grissom, all whom she cherished. A special recognition of her sister by choice for over 50 years, Linda Koeltzow. Fredia was also eternally appreciative of her niece, Sheri Oakes. The two spent countless hours together sharing love, laughter and memories. In addition, she has many other loving nieces, nephews, family members and close friends that were close to her heart.
The family expresses gratitude for the care Fredia received while living at MorningStar Senior Living and from Suncrest Hospice.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 3, 2024, 2 pm at the Chapel at Resthaven. Interment will follow a Resthaven Memory Gardens.
