Tribute

Fred David Lambert went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 15, 2019, at the age of 81. He was born July 6, 1938, in Philadelphia, PA, to Harry Allan Lambert and Madeline Carolyn (Payton) Lambert.
Dave married the love of his life, Connie Mae Schneckenberger, April 26, 1979. Throughout his life he accomplished many wonderful things, including earning a Doctorate of Divinity degree, and was a Baptist Minister for over 50 years. He also served as an instructor for Graduate School in Washington D.C., instructing in management sciences and related areas. He served in the capacity of this teaching for the past 30 years.
Dave had a strong interest in the Civil War and enjoyed participating in re-enactments. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard, and was very patriotic throughout his life. Dave also had a very strong interest in flying. He was a pilot of small aircraft until his first open heart surgery in 1986. In addition, he loved both learning, reading, and educating. Dave had an extensive home library collection, which consisted of mostly theology books as well as the many other areas of interest he loved. He was always looking to broaden his knowledge in all areas in order to share the knowledge with those he educated.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Harry and Madeline Lambert; and a brother, Donnie Lambert.
Survivors include his loving wife, Connie M. Lambert; sons, Kevin D. Lambert, Karl W. Lambert, Keith A. Lambert, Kurt T. Lambert, and Jonathan H. Lambert; daughter, Julie Smith-Woolrich; sister, Carole Lambert-Billetdoux; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Services are 2:00pm, Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Chapel at Resthaven, 500 SW 104th St. Oklahoma City, OK 73139. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Condolences may be shared at www.ResthavenOKC.com.
