Frankie Dale Head entered his Heavenly home on June 20, 2022. He was born August 10, 1947 in Floydada, Texas to Noel and Frances Head.
Frank grew up in Midwest City and graduated from Carl Albert High School in 1966. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Air force and the Oklahoma Army National Guard. He pursued a career at the United States Postal Service, where he worked for 30 years prior to his retirement in 2003.
Frank married the love of his life, Alicia David, on May 16, 1970. They met and married in the Philippines and were blessed with 28 years of marriage prior to Alicia’s passing in 1998.
Frank’s hobbies were playing dominos, bowling, billiards, watching movies, boating, and golfing, all that he greatly enjoyed with friends and family. Most of all, he loved being with his family and cherished time spent with them in any way.
He was preceded in passing by his loving wife, Alicia Head; parents, Noel and Frances Head; brother, Tony Head; and brother-in-law, Kenneth McCorkle.
Those left to continue his legacy include his son, Jason Head and wife Rebekah; daughter, Theresa Howell and husband Michael; sister, Charlotte McCorkle; grandchildren, Jaden Head and wife Autumn, Kailee Head, Bailey Beaver, Lucas Beaver, and Yancee Lyles; and his loving bother-in-law and best friend, Eddie David and wife Emy. Frank is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends who will all miss him dearly.
Frank’s Celebration of Life is 2:00pm, Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Chapel at Resthaven. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Condolences may be shared at www.ResthavenOKC.com.
