Fannie Lucille Mapes February 18, 1932 - March 25, 2020 Born in Tuttle Oklahoma to William and Annie (Rex)Barton. She married Donald Joe Mapes in Fort Bragg North Carolina on July 28, 1951. They were married For 67 years until the passing of Don June 18,2019. Through her years she was a homemaker and worked along the side of her husband at crossroads church for many years. She loved going to church and working in different ministries. She was a very sweet and giving person if anyone needed any help she wouldn’t hesitate to help you. She never miss church until their health took a turn. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoy rocking her grandchildren and great grandchildren and would sing to them when they were little. She love to buy clothes and shop on the home shopping channel and was a classy lady. She never had a harsh word to say about anyone, she always found the good in people. She is survived by her three children Ted Mapes of Mustang, Randy Mapes and wife Debbie of Stratford, daughter Lue Ann Garrett and husband Terry of Norman. Also her sister-in-law Mary Ella Garman and husband Richard of Moore, grandchildren Kara Waller and husband Ilan, Jeana Lamb and husband Troy, Amy Will and Husband Brett, Amanda Kennedy and husband Clent, Chandace Engles and husband Eric, Chaz Garrett, Cole Garrett and wife Kambria,; Great grandchildren Ilan Waller and wife Natalie, Faith Waller, Kaylen Waller, Johnny Ray Lamb, Gracie Will, Sadie Will, Maesy Will, Ethan Kennedy, Elisha Kennedy, Elan Kennedy, Caden Engles, Grasha Engles.
Graveside Service will be 11:00 am Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2020 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
