Evangeline Martha Gage Pulley
May 29, 1923 - August 3, 2020

Evangeline “Vangie” was born in Sturgis, MI & passed from this life in Houston,TX. She was raised by her father, grandmother, & aunt after losing her mother during childbirth. She met & married Frank E. Pulley in December 1943. Vangie was a strong military spouse & traveled the states & abroad supporting her husband’s Air Force career. She & Frank had three children, Timothy who passed soon after birth, Cynthia, & Pamela. Vangie & Frank were married for 58 years & Vangie remained a committed, loving wife throughout their marriage. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, playing cards, attending church, & spending time with her dogs, especially PeeWee. She was an incredible woman who loved her family unconditionally. She is survived by a brother, Bob (Martha) Gage, daughters Cynthia & Pamela, granddaughters Melody, Ericca, Candice, Lindsay, Hannah, & seven great grandchildren. She will be laid to rest on August 10, 2020 in Resthaven Cemetery with her husband who preceded her in death in 2001. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM at South Walker Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
