Ella May Sanchez

Ella May Sanchez entered her Heavenly home on May 25, 2020. She was born May 13, 1947 in Clovis, CA to Braxton and Amanda Jones (Lassiter).
Ella May grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Capitol Hill High School. She got married during her senior year of high school and was blessed with a son, David Leeper, in 1967. David passed at the age of 6 months. From this marriage, she was then blessed with a daughter, Deena Leeper, in 1969.

Ella May later married Roger Sanchez and together they were blessed with two children, Tanya King and Nathan Sanchez. Ella May and Roger enjoyed a wonderful marriage together prior to Roger’s passing.
Ella May had a passion for sewing and drawing. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed participating in events and sewing her own unique hats.

She was preceded in passing by her son, David Leeper; husband, Roger Sanchez; and brother, Braxton Jones, Jr.
Those left to cherish her legacy include her son, Nathan Sanchez and wife Amelia; daughters, Deena Leeper, Tanya King and husband Eric; grandchildren, Natalie and Ethan; and sisters, Anita Jones, Sandra, and Delores. She is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends.
