Elisha Ishmael Williams was born November 10, 2007, at 10:07 am in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Diana Bermea & Patrick Williams, firstborn child of both. Elisha was raised and spent all his life in Oklahoma City. He was baptized & received First Communion at St James Catholic Church. He attended Catholic school in the Oklahoma City Archdiocese, attending primary school first at St James Catholic school from Pre-K through 3rd Grade, then at St Philip Neri from 4th Grade through 8th Grade, graduating in May 2022. Elisha played soccer at St James & soccer & basketball at St Philip Neri. Elisha attended Mount St Mary High School for 9th Grade. During his year at the Mount, he participated on the E-Sports team. He also attended Oklahoma History on the Road during June 2023.
In May 2022, Elisha was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer. He underwent 3 surgeries during the summer of 2022 and 40 days of radiation treatments. Through this, he maintained a sense of hope and gratitude for the time he was given with family & friends. He was especially excited to get to attend the Mount in person for the majority of his freshman year.
Elisha enjoyed playing soccer, paintball, shooting at the range, video games & especially Asian food. He played multiple soccer seasons with American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) in Del City, as well with his school teams. Elisha’s favorite subjects were art, history & science. He had a wide-ranging taste in music artists, ranging from Queen to Prince to Eminem, as well as Christian rapper NF.
Elisha is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ann G Brown-Hebert & cousin, Kimber Rose Bermea.
He leaves behind his mother, Diana Marie Bermea, father, Patrick Anthony Williams & brother, Bryton Ezra Williams, grandparents Daniel & Sherry Bermea & Jerry & Lisann Williams, uncle Daniel Bermea, uncle Jace (Stormy) Williams, uncle Bobby Stallings-Williams, aunts Melissa Bermea & Patricia Bermea, lifelong friend Bryce Robertson & beloved dog Karlie, numerous cousins, classmates & friends.
