I remember Mr. Nash could look so stern and intimidating, then a smile would slip onto his face and he got a twinkle in his eyes that said it all. He was a great principal and a sweet man.

Our deepest condolences go out to Shirley and the entire Nash family. I wish we could attend the celebration of his life but circumstances prevent us from coming. Rest assured that we will be there in spirit. He was one tough hombre on the football field; a good friend and he will be missed by all the Panhandle Aggies.

Eddie has been my brother sine I was 12 years old--for more than 55 years...it's hard to remember my life without him being a part of it. Our families have been exceptionally close throughout all these years and have "grown up" together. We have had countless very special times and experiences together...with Eddie often at the helm. What I will always cherish about him was his great love and caring for his mother- and father-law....my parents. He was a very special man, and I miss him dearly. The void left by his passing will never be filled.
