On Wednesday, October 25, 2017 Ed Nash, 75, of Moore went to be with his Lord and Savior after a brief illness.
Ed was born in Phoenix, AZ and moved to El Paso, TX as a small child. There he met his wife of 55 years, Shirley; the two were married May 19, 1962. Ed graduated from OPSU in 1966 and moved to Moore in 1968 where he and Shirley resided until his death. Ed retired from Moore Public Schools in 1996.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Afton and Velma Nash; and brother, Wendell Nash. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Leigh Ann Briscoe and husband Clifton of Newcastle; son, Paul Nash and wife Maggi of Oklahoma City; brother Schuyler Nash and wife Annette of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren: Chrystle Hamilton and husband Tyler, Nora Kate, Evan, and Charlie Nash; numerous nieces and nephews; and many wonderful and very close friends.
Visitation will be held 2-8pm Sunday, October 29, with family present from 2-4pm. A celebration of Ed’s life will be held 10am Monday in the Chapel at Resthaven.
