Eddie "Ed" Foster of Bethany, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was in the presence of his loving family.
Ed was born on May 6, 1945, in Miami, Oklahoma. He was the son of Rev. Carl Alonzo and Elsie Geneva (Wise) Foster. Ed was a Patriotic Man who proudly served his country in the United States Army receiving the Purple Heart. He also served the Bethany community as a Fire Fighter for a number of years.
He was a devoted husband, very responsible father to his children, a loving grandfather and a faithful Christian. He enjoyed fixing things around the house and painting. He loved and enjoyed his fur babies, Coachie and Bruno. He loved to travel and visiting with people. He was an avid fan of the Thunder Basketball team.
He is survived by his wife, of thirteen years, Gladys G Foster; his children, Sonya Renee Foster, Bryan Allen Foster and wife Andrea, and Michael L Guarin and wife Liberty (the best nurse he ever had). Grandchildren, Madison Elise Foster, Makaila Gabrielle Foster, Makenzie Eason Foster, Ashlyn Foster, Mason Foster, Cameron Foster, Lauren Foster, great grandchildren, Emilie Foster, Allicynn Foster; and one sister, Marcia Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Alonzo Foster, and Elsie Geneva Foster; one sister, Neva Charlene Perkins; and one child, Carl Edward Foster.
Ed lives on in the hearts and minds of his loving family and friends. He will deeply be missed.
