Mrs Dorothy F. Lester

Dorothy Lester entered her Heavenly home on April 26, 2019 at the age of 94. She was born May 26, 1924 in Oklahoma City to P.B. and Lottye Odom.
Dorothy grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Central High School. She married Col. AW Lambert and they traveled throughout the United States while he was serving in the Air Force.
Dorothy joined the family business, P.B. Odom Construction, in the 1960s and served as Vice President. She married Ralph Lester in 1966 and they were blessed with 40 years of marriage before his passing in 2006. Although she was very active in the business, she always made time for her family. Dorothy gave an incredible amount of love and loyalty to those she loved and was amazingly sharp and quick-witted. She never failed to make her family smile with wit and humor. In addition, Dorothy enjoyed fashion and had an eye for it.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; husbands, Col. AW Lambert and Ralph Lester;
Survivors include her son, Mitch Lambert of Oklahoma City; brother, Paul Odom, Jr.; grandchildren, Chris Lambert and Kelly Mixon; great-grandchildren, Daniel Lambert and Oscar Mixon; and nephews, Paul Odom III, Brady Odom, Paul David Odom, and David Odom. She is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends.
Services for Dorothy are 10:00am, Thursday, May 2, 2019 in the Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
