Debra Jo Archer Parton, 62, of Oklahoma City, OK, peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones Sunday, July 9, 2017. She was born to Shirley Jo Ayers Archer and Calvin Leroy Archer on January 12, 1955 in Oklahoma City, OK. She adored her children, grandchildren, and numerous cats and dogs.
Debi was preceded in death by her parents and husband Verle Parton, Oklahoma City. Debi is survived by her husband, Joe Allen, Oklahoma City; sister Nancy Radloff of Cambridge, Wisconsin; brothers Calvin Archer and Tommy Archer of Oklahoma City; children, Kirk Barrett (Melissa) of Plano, Texas, Joseph Barrett (Valeria) of Hinton, Oklahoma, Chase Parton (Celestina) of Oklahoma City; and 8 grandchildren.
Debi was blessed with a vivacious spirit and generous soul, leaving her family and friends with many joyful memories.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2:00 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home, 500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made online or by mail to the Wounded Warrior Project: PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
