Dannye Joseph Stumblingbear

January 6, 1984 ~ April 5, 2022 (age 38) 38 Years Old

Tribute

Dannye Joseph Stumblingbear entered his Heavenly home on April 5, 2022 at the age of 38. He was born January 6, 1984 in Lawton, OK to Ophelia and Reuben Stumblingbear.
Dannye grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Capitol Hill High School. He went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps and was very proud to be a United States Marine.
Dannye met the love of his life, Shannon Stumblingbear, twelve years ago and they were inseparable since then. They married in April of 2020 and greatly enjoyed life together with their eight children. Sadly, Shannon passed on September 5, 2021. From then on, Dannye tried to be the best father that he could. He loved his children with every ounce of his being and cherished his family and time spent with them. He was the perfect example of a family man, constantly making those around him feel loved and appreciated. He was always there at any moment to be a listening ear or a helping hand. In addition, he was an excellent cook and an avid OU Sooners fan and Chiefs fan. Dannye will immensely be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in passing by his loving wife, Shannon Stumblingbear; and son, Jordan Stumblingbear.
Those left to continue his legacy include his parents, Ophelia and Reuben Stumblingbear; sons, Andrew Wells, Dannye Stumblingbear Jr., and Donnie Stumblingbear; daughters, Onelia Stumblingbear, Yohanna Hall, Mia Wells, Angel Stumblingbear, Lillieanna Stumblingbear, Valerie Sunshine Stumblingbear; brother, Joshua Stumblingbear and wife Alesia; sisters, Leticia Stumblingbear and Alicia Briones; nieces and nephews, Manuel Dominguez, Anicia Stumblingbear, Victoria Vasquez and husband Andres, Robert Briones, Marcus Briones, Joshua Stumblingbear, Jr., Jessica Stumblingbear, Julien Stumblingbear, Jasmine Stumblingbear, Jovanni Stumblingbear, and Jacob Stumblingbear; and great nieces and nephews, Genesis Genean Briones, Mateo Gerardo Briones, Andres Junior Vasquez, Alexandria Isabella Vasquez, Abraham Leonardo Vasquez, Manuel Dominguez Jr, Reuben Francisco Dominguez, Alaric Kai Stumblingbear, and Leviticus Kastiel Stumblingbear. He is also survived by Alex Alvarez and family; his Marine Corps brothers and sisters; his pastors and mentors, Roger and Dolly Velasquez and Reese Logan; and his lifelong friends, Enrique Aguirre, Billy Harriman, Aaron Davis and Brian Rosenbalm.
