Clifford A. Arney
(November 22, 1930 – April 2, 2021)

Clifford A. Arney of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, April 2, in Oklahoma at the age of 90 years.
Clifford was born on November 22nd, 1930 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Charley and Martha Arney. He grew up in Paoli, Oklahoma and graduated from Paoli High School in 1947. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree from East Central University in 1951.
Marriage
Clifford was married to Patsy (Tiner) Arney on June 1st, 1953 and was faithfully committed to Patsy for 63 years before she preceded him in death.

Church
Clifford took the steps of obedience necessary to be added to the Lord’s Church the very same year that he was married. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ until the day he passed from this life on April 2, 2021. He loved the Church and served in the role of an elder at the 21st Street congregation for approximately 40 years. He spent a great deal of time studying the scriptures both personally and with others. The last 4 years of his life, Cliff attended church at the West View Church of Christ in Piedmont, Oklahoma with a number of his family members.

Pastime
There was no mistaking who Cliff’s favorite sports teams were (OU Sooners, OKC Thunders, NY Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys). He was a numbers person who kept up with the statistics of all of his sports teams, as well as enjoying to swing a golf club himself. Cliff also enjoyed hunting and fishing earlier in his life.

Services are 10:00am, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Chapel at Resthaven. The service will be live-streamed for friends and family. Per the family's request, masks and social distancing will be required.
