Charles E. Lee

Charles Edward Lee of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed away on June 30, 2021, in Oklahoma City at the age of 85 years.

Charles was born on November 1, 1935, in Wapanuka, Oklahoma. He was the son of Edgar Lee and Mary (Hamer) Fountain. He grew up in Wapanuka attending Wapanuka Public Schools. At the age of twelve, he moved to Lawrence, Kansas, and later Oklahoma City where he graduated from Capitol Hill High School. He then moved back to Lawrence, Kansas where he attended College. Following his education, he entered the United States Air Force in 1955, stationed in Germany twice, Italy, France, in 1971, he was sent to Vietnam, and stationed at state side bases. He married Shirley Brown in 1960, and they have three children.

He was preceded in death by his mother; father; and oldest son, Charles.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two sons, Barry Lee and his wife Robin, and Michael Lee and his wife Michelle; grandson, Matthew Lee and wife Aubrey; granddaughter, Makenna Lee; and grandsons, Zach Tucker, Callan Tucker and Jaxson Lee.
