3 Flowers or Condolences have been shared with support of Carolyn's family - View on Tribute Wall
Carolyn Faye Healy of Crescent, OK passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at the age of 73. She was born June 10, 1946 in Bakersfield, CA to John Thomas Tedford, Sr. and Iwanda Faye Tedford (Harp).
Carolyn was a graduate of Capitol Hill High School. She went on to pursue a career in the Oil Industry and ultimately retired from Chaparral Energy. She married the love of her life, Stephen Douglas Healy, on November 28, 1985. They were blessed with 32 years of marriage before Steve’s passing on July 4, 2018. Carolyn and Steve both volunteered on the Twin Lakes Fire Department. They lived in the Twin Lakes Community in Crescent, OK where they both enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, riding three-wheelers on the river, playing with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Carolyn touched the lives of those around her with her amazing sense of humor and generous love. She celebrated all of her loved one’s accomplishments by treating them to Texas Roadhouse, and that was one of her favorite things to do. Regardless of how Carolyn felt on any given day, she never failed to make people laugh with her wit and humor. Carolyn will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, John and Iwanda Tedford; brother, John Tedford, Jr.; sister, Priscilla Wallace; husband, Stephen Douglas Healy; and great-grandchild, baby Adams.
Carolyn leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Thomas “Pete” Adams and wife Kelli, Mark Hawkins, and Benjamin Healy; 10 grandchildren; and a wealth of great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly. The community of Twin Lakes will also miss her, as she was loved greatly by all there.
The family would like to thank Dr. James Reeves, his nurse Jeanie, as well as all of the other wonderful doctors, nurses, and therapists who were involved in Carolyn’s care, including the loving individuals with Good Shepherd Hospice.
If you wish to make a donation in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Twin Lakes Fire Department.
