Carolyn G. Dark

Carolyn (Hendrick) Dark, age 79, of Tuttle, OK died at home on May 19, 2023. She was born to William and Beatrice (Krivanek) Hendrick on January 10, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Carolyn graduated from Grant High School in 1962. She married Jimmie Dark on October 23, 1965. They had one child, Sheri (Dark) Thompson.
Carolyn was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, sewing, and nights out dancing with Jimmie.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Sheri Thompson and husband, Charles; grandchildren, Jennifer Wilkerson and husband, Mike, Joshua Stramski, Jessica Johnson and husband, Bobby, Cory Thompson and Kylie, Zach Thompson and Kellen; ten great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Sharon Reynolds, Teri Hunter and husband, Jim.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband; parents; in-laws, Howard and Otha Dark; sister, Glenna Sullivan; brother-in-law, Jerry Reynolds; sister-in-law, Shirley Dark.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home on SW 104th and Walker. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 10:00a.m. in the chapel at Resthaven. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Lunch will be provided from 11:30a.m. – 1:30p.m. following the graveside services.
