Bronwyn "Boo" Bennett (Dollins), age 64, of Moore, OK, went to her heavenly home on Friday, May 28, 2021, at Norman Regional Healthplex.
She was born on August 29, 1956, in McAlester, OK, to George and Phyllis Dollins. Boo was a 1974 graduate of Hartshorne High School and went on to recieve her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Oklahoma.
Boo dedicated her life to caring for, loving, and treating those with cancer. She spent her latter years researching the latest and best cancer treatments. She made a great impact on her patients and created special, lifelong friendships with many of them and their families.
Boo's greatest achievement came in 1992, when she gave birth to her son, Kyle. She poured herself into being the best momma she could be and giving Kyle the finest education, high morals, a love for the simple things in life, and most importantly, a relationship with God. Together, Boo and Kyle enjoyed going to the zoo and vacationing, especially to Branson, but they also found pleasure in staying home, playing gin rummy and Scrabble, while watching their favorite movie, Cars.
Boo loved Disney, butterflies, family, and sports, specifically, Atlanta Braves baseball. She had the sweetest smile, tender heart, big ol Papaw George kisses, and she always smelled amazing. Boo loved deeply and passionately, and made sure those around her knew how much she loved them.
Boo is preceded in death by her parents, George and Phyllis Dollins; and niece, Jessica Coplen.
She is survived by her son, Kyle Bennett; sister, Shannon (Dollins) Coplen and husband, Earl (who she loved as a brother); brothers, George Dollins and Brian Dollins; special sister, Suzy Pitchford; nephews, Levi Coplen, Heith Dollins, Tyler Dollins; nieces, Amanda Chambers, Ashley Bryant, Heather Dollins, Haylee Ortiz, Hanna Dollins; many great nieces and nephews; and a plethora of special friends and coworkers.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Boo touched are invited to Resthaven Funeral Home, in Oklahoma City, Thursday, June 3rd, 2021 at 2pm. Brother Glen Sims will be officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 3-7pm on Wednesday, June 2nd, at Resthaven Funeral Home.
