Billeye Deneise (Randolph) Medlock, age 71, was born on September 8, 1951 to Howard Randolph and Allene (Farrell) Randolph in Oklahoma City, OK. She passed away peacefully on September 29, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Billeye grew up in Edmond, OK. She graduated from Edmond High School, where she was involved in 4H and vocal music, with the Class of 1969. After high school, she continued her studies at Central State University graduating with her Bachelors of Art in General Sociology in 1987 and Masters of Education in Counseling and Psychology in 1989.
Billeye was a licensed Mental Health Counselor and practicing therapist for many years, publishing multiple articles on Substance Abuse in the early 1990’s. She was involved in numerous professional organizations including the National Board for Certified Counselors, Kiwanis, Sac & Fox Boys and Girls Club of Seminole, and Perinatal Substance Abuse Coalition.
Billeye settled in Pawnee, Oklahoma for most of her later years where she continued to work as a therapist before leaving the mental health industry to work for The Pawnee Nation Housing Authority, Baptist Home Health and, most recently, part-time for the Pawnee Library and Spears Furniture.
Billeye was a talented piano player and loved to sing, participating in local musicals while living in Shawnee, OK. She was an avid movie watcher and loved her cats.
Billeye is survived by her daughter, Shelleye Miller and husband, John; grandkids, Lauren Smith and husband, Trey, Luke Miller, Logan Miller and wife, Jenae, and Leah Miller; brother, Rickey Randolph and wife, Cindy; nephew, Cody Randolph and wife, Desirae along with their daughter, Tayten.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard “Buster” and Allene Randolph; brother, Tony Randolph; grandparents, Roy and Mildred Randolph, Hollis and Elsie Farrell.
Billeye’s life will be celebrated with graveside services Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 2:00PM at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City, OK. Under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
