Betty Jean Bivins

Betty Jean Bivins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021, in Oklahoma City at the age of 82 years.

Betty Jean Bivins was born on June 3, 1938, in Sulphur, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Ralph Lewis and Faye (Hamby) Cantero. Betty was a wonderful mother and married to the love of her life, Teddy Joe Bivins for 48 years. Betty loved to do for others anything she could. She loved reading mysteries and crime stories, she also loved watching the Hallmark channel and NCIS all three series.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Lewis Cantero and Faye Cantero Saylor; her husband, Teddy Joe Bivins Sr., her brother, Kenny Dale Cantero; her stepfather, Roy Washington Saylor; and her stepson, Lindy Lee Bivins.

She is survived by her children, Betty Daneen Cavin, Edwin Norvell Dalley Jr., Karla Kay Irving, Ralph Gordon Bivins; and her only niece from her brother, Kristina Cantero Lee; many step children which she loved, JoAnne Greeson; Carol Newman, Nina Stubblefield, Elizabeth Jane Boyett, Teddy Joe Bivins Jr., Bush Bivins, Sears Bivins, and Holly Olsen; 36 grandchildren; 78 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
