Bernice Rose Patillo

Bernice Rose Patillo, born December 30, 1928, in rural Hardesty, Oklahoma, has gone to be with Jesus on December 8, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents Seldon and Flora Mae Prewett, all her siblings and her husband Gerald Clinton Patillo (married December 1, 1950).

The funeral will be held Wednesday, December 12, in the Chapel at Resthaven in south Oklahoma City at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 11th at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Rose was a much loved wife, mama, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend.

Her children include Jerry Patillo and his wife Doris Patillo, Deborah Rose Patillo, David Patillo and his wife Dawn Patillo and Connie Patillo. Her grandchildren include Thomas Kuykendall, Carlton David (Trapper) Patillo and Leanna Rose Worley. Rose had five great grandchildren. Jayden, Eagan, and Alyssa Rose Worley called her Grandma Rose. To Cason and Hudson Patillo, she was “Roo”.

Rose was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church in Wellston Oklahoma and led bible studies for the WMU. She was a joker and loved to laugh. She also loved playing piano One of her favorite jokes came from her Papa and every time she heard it, she would smile and laugh. Here is Mom’s favorite funny: “If we had any bacon we could have bacon and eggs, if we had any eggs.”
