Barrett T. Husted

Barrett Tomas Husted entered his Heavenly home on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the age of 47. He was born October 22, 1974 in Moore, OK to John Darrell Husted, Jr. and Rebecca Jo Husted (Everett). 
Barrett grew up in Moore and attended Robin Hill School. He was later homeschooled during his high school years and graduated in 1992.  Barrett was a kind and gentle soul, loved by all who had the opportunity to meet him. He was a car enthusiast, avid movie watcher, had a passion for traveling, and making sure everyone was always weather-aware. He especially enjoyed his work as a truck driver for the family business and took great pride in his driving ability. In addition, he loved his dogs Bella and Bailey and they were a huge part of his life. Above all, Barrett cherished his family. He enjoyed spending time with them and one of his most favorite hobbies was going to car shows and most recently contributing to the build of a custom 1969 Chevrolet Truck. 
Barrett was preceded in passing by his brother, John Husted; cousin, Chris Meiser; uncle, Wayne Meiser; and aunts, Bonnie Nigh and Candy Bennett. 
Those left to continue his legacy include his parents, Darrell and Becky Husted; brother, Bryan Husted and wife Katie; sister, Lori Jatala and husband Steve; nieces and nephews, Ashden Ramsey and husband Peyton, Chase Husted, Wayne Killgore and wife Maddie, MaKayela Jatala, Averi and Everett Husted; great nieces and nephews, Dari Jatala and Nova Killgore; best friend, Harley Sasnett; and beloved fur babies, Bella and Bailey. Barrett is also survived by a host of loving extended friends and family who will all miss him dearly. 


Services are 10:00am, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Victory Family Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
