Audie M. Harmon

Audie Marie (Christian) Harmon entered her Heavenly home April 13, 2022. She was born February 16, 1928 in Legal, Oklahoma to Jim and Gurtha (Williams) Christian and had five older brothers and sisters, Moranda, Bill, George, Ida May and Jewell.
On August 24, 1946, she married the love of her life, Arvis Harmon. From this marriage, they were blessed with their daughter, Sherry.
She taught 30 years in Okmulgee, Crawford, and Moore, retiring in 1986. All of her students were very dear to her heart.
Audie was preceded in passing by her parents, all her brothers and sisters; son-in-law, Wendell; and loving husband of 56 years, Arvis.
Those left to continue her legacy include her daughter Sherry and 2 grandchildren, Wendi and her husband Jack Whitehead; grandson, Dale and wife Jonnie Keahey; great-grandchildren, Laila Whitehead, Dane Whitehead, Saydee and Easton Keahey, Haley Olivier, Jacklyn Whitehead, Brad Whitehead and wife Alicia; and great-great grandbaby, Braylee Coffelt.
Visitation for Audie is 1:00pm-8:00pm, Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Resthaven Funeral Home. The family will receive guests from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Services are 2:00pm, Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Central Church of Christ in Moore, OK. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Condolences may be shared at www.ResthavenOKC.com.
