After a life well lived, Anna Darlene Powers (Qualls) 74 passed away on August 25, 2017 at her home. She was born on January 26, 1943 to Clay and Jewell Qualls (Mayfield) and graduated from Panama High School. She married Gilbert Ray Powers on July 31, 1961. Anna enjoyed gardening, playing high school basketball, and travelling. She worked for Kimray until her retirement. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Edgery (Junior) Qualls; and husband, Gilbert Ray Powers. She is survived by her children, Sandra Vallance and husband David, and son Jimmy Powers; siblings, Iva Harp, Shellia Davidson, and Jerry Qualls; grandchildren, David Vallance, Jr., Amy Husband, Sophie Powers, Taylor Powers, and Liberty Powers; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Services to celebrate Anna’s life will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at The Chapel at Resthaven with interment to follow next to her husband Gilbert at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City, OK. In keeping with Anna’s giving spirit the family request donations be made, in lieu of flowers to, The American Lung Association or to support the survivors of Cerebral Palsy or Lupus.
