Tribute

Andrew “Daine” Turner entered his Heavenly home October 4, 2021. He was born February 17, 1998 in Oklahoma City.

Daine graduated from Westmoore High School in 2016. Immediately after graduation, he went to work in the oil field in Wyoming at the age of 18. Daine was a hard worker and enjoyed making friends wherever he went. Most recently, he was working as a forklift operator with Purina.

Daine loved online gaming, and especially loved World of Warcraft. Above all, he was a fiercely loyal friend and spent his life caring for those around him, being a protector to so many. He was a true ‘Mama’s Boy’ and was extremely protective of his mom Brenda from a very young age. In addition, Daine was so proud to be an American. He loved his country but even more so, he truly loved, appreciated, and admired veterans and active duty military who make this country what it is. He was so extremely proud of his brother Hunter for serving in the United States Army and he made it known any chance he got. Although Daine’s life on Earth was brief, the legacy he left will carry on forever in the many lives he touched. He will be remembered always as the most loving, caring, and brave man who made a positive difference each and every day by just being himself.

Daine was preceded in passing by his grandmother, Evelyn Barber and uncle, Calvin Shoopman.

Those left to continue his legacy include his parents, Brenda Barber and Allen Lee; brother, Hunter Pacheco and wife Vivian; stepbrothers, Dexter Lee and Dillon Lee; grandparents, Reta and Doug January, Diedra Barber, and Marie Cantrell; aunt and uncle, Harrison Barber and Olivia Reichielt; aunt, Cathryn Shoopman; and great-grandparents, Kay and Jim Shoopman and Nathan Barber, Sr. “Poppy”. Daine is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends who will all miss him dearly.
