After 81 years of a life well lived Allen W. Greeson passed away on August 27, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 19, 1935 in Oklahoma City to Charlie H. and Edna (Wyatt) Greeson. Allen graduated from Moore High School in 1953 and went on to further his career at Central State College earning both a Bachelor’s of Science and Arts. He joined the Marine Corp in 1953. He married Roseline Begin at St. Matthew Cathedral in Washington, D.C. on July 28, 1956 and were married 61 years. Allen joined the Oklahoma City Police Department and served the force from 1957-1962. He then went to work for TG&Y and ended his career with them as Director of Internal Audit and Loss Prevention. Allen owned and operated Greeson Accounting Service in Edmond, OK. He was passionate about his family, politics and his farm. Allen is survived by his wife Roseline Greeson; son, Gary Greeson; daughters, Karen Allen and husband Robert, and Cheri James and husband Mike; grandchildren, Ryan Greeson, Randy Allen, Amanda Allen, and Weston James; great grandchildren, Aubri, Dacey, Pierce, Brynley, Bryson, and Robert “Z”; sister in law, Helen Greeson; and daughter in law, Cindy Greeson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Charles E. Greeson. The family would like to thank Brittany Childs for her loving care of their father. Services to celebrate Allen’s life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City.
