After 96 years of a well-lived life, Albert Kenneth Cummings left his earthly home on May 17, 2017. He was born December 26, 1920 in Fox, AR to Samuel and Janie (Berry) Cummings. Albert married Flora Geneva McGee on September 10, 1939 and the two shared 61 years together until her passing in 2000. Albert was a hardworking, creative man who loved his family deeply. He owned and operated many businesses around the metro before retiring from American Fence.

Albert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Flora Cummings; daughters, Nadine Anders and Maxine Cummings; great grandson, Kyle Davis; and numerous brothers and sisters.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: daughter, Sharon Dixon and husband, Marvin; grandchildren: Darrin Anders and wife Cheryl, Steven Anders and wife Regina, Mikki Davis-Cole and husband Rick, M. Terrell Dixon; and TaShonda Dixon; great grandchildren: Austin, Zakary, Dylan, Molleigh, Brandon, Cassidy, Kaylee, Chase, Ty, Riley, and Caleb; and sister, Evadee Rocha.


Visitation will be held Thursday from 12-8pm with family present to receive friends from 5-7pm.

A celebration of Albert’s life will be held 10am Friday, May 19 in The Chapel at Resthaven.
